1962 Corvette-SOLD

Mileage: 65000

Year: 1962

Very nicely preserved mostly unrestored survivor car with cool history

This car was owned by the instructor of the local technical college and was painted as a project for his students in 1984-1985 in the original color of Roman Red. The paint and body work is very high quality and still holds up great today. Keep in mind this was the instructors personal car so he made sure it was done right.

The original motor was also rebuilt at this time and unfortunately the block was decked so there is no stamp on the engine pad. It is the correct date and casting number 3782870. Original aluminum intake and valve covers. Original air cleaner and all ignition shielding. Carburetor is a correct 1963 replacement. Highly, highly original and correct under the hood- no reproduction pieces here!

Interior from what we can tell is 100% original including carpet. It’s in pretty amazing condition for being 64 years old! Top was replaced in the 1980’s as well, very nice and fits great. Couple small marks on it but very nice

Undercarriage is rock solid and unrestored- zero rust or corrosion

Overall just an incredibly original example of a 1962 340HP car- the car was driven and preserved by it’s previous owner and obviously very well cared for. Not a 100 point restored show car, but very very nice and presentable and more honest and original than 99% of what’s  out there today.
